The following statement has literally been YEARS in the making : I am SO happy to announce we finally have a gaping hole in the ground where 'the shanty' (the old barn - if you will . . . but I won't) once stood. Yes, we have officially broken ground on our new house. I can't even imagine the hang-ups that will surely rear their ugly heads between this momentous occasion and that of finishing the house. However, if we've managed to get through all the set-backs we've had to this point, I'm pretty sure we'll manage picking out tile and drawer pulls.
